Stephanie Spong is a Principal with EPIC Ventures. Prior to joining EPIC, Stephanie helped startups and corporate R&D groups with high technology innovation and commercialization projects through her consulting firm Greystone Management Consulting. Other experience includes running the Los Angeles office of RazorFish, serving energy and financial services clients as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, improving operations for Citibank in Mexico and working as a business analyst with Monitor Company in Tokyo and working with Japanese clients as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs. She was awarded a M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and received her B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, cum laude, in Economics and Asian Studies. Stephanie speaks Spanish and Japanese. She currently serves on the boards of the Rocky Mountain Venture Capital Association, New Mexico Venture Capital Association, and the New Mexico Angels. She currently serves as president of the New Mexico Venture Capital Association, and chairs the 2010 Venture Capital in the Rockies conference and the 2010 Phoenix-based InvestSouthwest Equity Conference. She oversees EPIC investments in Aspen Avionics, Lumidigm, Veralight and Figaro Systems.
