Zettaset

In 2007, when Zettaset was in its embryonic stage, its co-founders embarked on a mission to provide its Customers with a Platform that would enable them to aggregate huge amounts of data from disparate sources, perform complex analytics on the data in a parallel fashion, and visualize the massive amounts of data in a way that was intuitive to its customers while being able to scale to literally thousands of commodity servers. In 2010, Zettaset succeeded in developing a platform that:

1. supports large scale data aggregation from a multitude of disparate platforms,
2. has the ability to perform complex analytics through a simple intuitive user interface,
3. supports the visualization of huge datasets (>10,000 rows of data) in a meaningful way, and
4. has the ability to scale and parallelize workload across literally thousands of commodity servers.

Zettaset's Vision was not only to support massive amounts of data (1000’s of Terabytes) but also effectively handle relatively small datasets (1+ Terabytes) for our Customers. Zettaset has achieved this by creating its own unique File System that sits on top of Hadoop. The File System overcomes the limitations of Hadoop and enables our customers to store literally billions of small and large files effectively on our platform.

Zettaset believes that its solution represents a paradigm shift from traditional data stores (Databases) by offering its customers an easy to use, highly scalable, flexible platform for aggregating, analyzing, and visualizing small to huge data sets that can be installed at the Customer’s Data Center or can be accessed as a SaaS Application via the Web.
