<p>Mr. Clyde is the Vice President of Technology at Symantec where he is responsible for setting the technology vision and strategy for the billion-dollar software company. Rob is a pioneer in the development of security products, leading development for intrusion detection and policy compliance products. Rob worked with leading Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to implement sound and practical security policies and solutions. With more than 25 years of information security experience, Rob is a recognized industry authority, serving on the board of the IT industry's Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IT-ISAC). Symantec Security Response, a dedicated group of security experts focused on the latest security threats, was founded under Clyde's direction.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Prior to Symantec, Mr. Clyde was a member of the executive team that created AXENT Technologies, Inc. and served as vice president of engineering for security management, assisting in growing the company from $8 million in 1994 to more than $125 million in 2000. Prior to AXENT, Rob was a founder of Clyde Digital Systems. Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude.</p>
