Since joining Wasatch /Zions in 1998, Madsen has overseen investments in approximately 20 companies and served on the boards of directors for 13. Before joining Wasatch, Madsen worked in technical and management positions for Ford Motor Company in the U.S., England and China. He also serves on the boards of four charitable organizations, including the Humanitarian Aid Relief Team (HART) in Ghana and the Utah-based University Venture Fund.

First job: Moving furniture at his father’s stores in Ogden and Salt Lake City
