Henry Eyring is the Managing Director of Outreach and Online Learning for Brigham Young University-Idaho. BYU-Idaho is committed to providing high-quality education to more students at lower relative cost, and online learning is a key tool for achieving those aims. Henry came to BYU-Idaho after completing a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; from 2003 to 2006 he presided over the Japan Tokyo North Mission. From 1988 to 2002 he was Director of the BYU (Provo) MBA Program. He began his career in 1989 at Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Monitor Company, an international management consulting firm. At Monitor he served as President of Monitor Institute, the subsidiary of the firm that consults in the public sector.
Mr. Eyring attended Brigham Young University, earning degrees in Geology (B.S., 1985), Business (M.B.A., 1989), and Law (J.D., 1989). He was a student editor of the J. Reuben Clark Law Review. In addition to serving now as a strategic advisor to EPIC Ventures, Henry is a director of SkyWest Airlines. He and his wife, Kelly, are the parents of five children.
