Chris Calder - Associate
Chris Calder joined EPIC Ventures in 2013 and focuses primarily on early stage investments in B2B software companies. Chris is a board member at Adaptive Computing, and was a board observer at Joyent through its acquisition by Samsung in 2016.
Chris joined EPIC Ventures from XYDO, an EPIC portfolio company and early news aggregation site. As the first non-developer on the team, Chris held responsibilities across product, user acquisition, and finance, helping grow the site to over a million unique visitors weeks after launch.
Chris is an MBA candidate at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and holds a degree in management/finance from Brigham Young University. He enjoys trying new technologies and programming in Python.
